Love handles are erotic in their appearance, and even their name bears a dose of sensuality, but somehow women are not satisfied by the way these look – considering them simply fat deposits (even if there are many men who love the love handles).
So, if you consider love handles less appealing and more what they actually are- fat- then you are probably trying to get rid of these slack areas that are on each side of your stomach. The love handles aren’t easy to lose; still there are some exercises for love handles that might help.

The love handles are directly linked to the back area, so if you want exercises for love handles, you should also be looking to tone up your back. The most effective exercises for love handles will consequently be some exercises that involve your back muscles as well as your oblique muscles (which are the muscles underneath the love handles). So, try some leg flutters for starters. You will do these by positioning yourself on your abdomen and keeping your arms near your body. Lift your chin up while you flutter your legs until you count till 30. Do a few reps of these exercises for love handles and then go on to the next exercise. These would be the crunches, which you probably know how to perform. You can also try some twisted crunches, which means staying on your back and lifting one knee and the opposite arm (which is placed behind the head). Repeat these exercises for love handles for 20-30 times, and as you progress in your program you can get to doing even more of these.

Among other effective exercises for love handles are the trunk twists. Either lie on your back and try to twist your torso while you get up from the floor, or you stand with bended knees and twist your upper body, while the legs and hips are stable. These are easy to perform, so you will need to do many of them at once to get results- try about 100 or so.

Remember to introduce these exercises for love handles in your daily workout routine. You have to be conscious of the fact that you have to workout your entire body and get into shape in order to get rid of the love handles. Doing solely the exercises for love handles won’t solve your problem overnight.
